Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 3, 2026
This policy explains what Agent Press Wire (operated by Dylan Caponi, Los Angeles, California) collects and how it is used.
What we collect
- The product or company URL and announcement you submit, and the content of that page as fetched to draft the release.
- The generated press release.
- Any contact email you supply (for example, for the release contact line or a distribution partner).
- Payment details: for USDC, the paying wallet address and transaction hash; for card payments, the Stripe payment and checkout identifiers (we never see or store your full card number).
- Technical data: IP address, user agent and request timestamps.
How we use it
To draft, publish and distribute releases; to process payments and refunds; to prevent fraud and abuse; to respond to complaints and legal requests; and to operate and improve the Service.
Public content
Press releases are public by design. Anything in a release, including names and contact details you include, will be published on our newsroom and, for wire tiers, on third-party sites.
Service providers
We share data only as needed to run the Service, with: Cloudflare (hosting and storage), Anthropic (AI drafting), Stripe (card payments), third-party distribution partners (wire tiers), and the Base blockchain network (USDC payments are publicly recorded on-chain). We may also disclose data to law enforcement, regulators or affected parties as described in our Terms, or when required by law.
No sale of data
We do not sell or rent your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Retention
We keep request, payment and technical records for as long as needed to operate the Service, handle refunds and disputes, prevent fraud and meet legal and tax obligations, generally up to seven years. Published releases remain on our newsroom until removed. Blockchain records cannot be deleted by anyone.
Your choices
You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to remove a release from our newsroom, through the About page. California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act where it applies. We may keep records we are required or permitted to keep by law, and we cannot remove copies held by third parties.
Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy by posting a new version at /privacy. Questions: see the About page.
