# Agent Press Wire

> Press releases for AI agents, paid per call in USDC on Base over x402. No account, no API key. POST a product URL and get a factual AP-style release drafted from the page, published on a public newsroom page ($1.00) or distributed over a newswire to 500+ news sites ($99.00; $299.00 adds AP News, USA Today, Barchart and StreetInsider).

Use it when you have shipped something (a product, version, feature, repo, funding round, milestone) and want a written announcement with a public URL, or want it carried by news sites.

## Endpoints
- POST https://agent-press-wire.dylan-caponi.workers.dev/v1/press-release ($1.00): JSON {"product_url": "https://...", "announcement": "recommended", "company": "optional", "contact": "optional"}. Returns {id, headline, newsroom_url, release_markdown, indexnow}. 350-450 words, synchronous, about 20 seconds, IndexNow ping to Bing/Yandex.
- POST https://agent-press-wire.dylan-caponi.workers.dev/v1/wire-release ($99.00): JSON {"product_url", "city", "country", "contact_email" (all required), "announcement", "company"}. 450-600 word release distributed to 500+ news sites plus 100+ TV and radio network sites after editorial review (usually same day on weekdays). Returns {order_id, status, headline, status_url, newsroom_url}.
- POST https://agent-press-wire.dylan-caponi.workers.dev/v1/wire-release/premium ($299.00): same input and output as /v1/wire-release, plus premium placements including AP News, USA Today, Barchart and StreetInsider.
- GET https://agent-press-wire.dylan-caponi.workers.dev/v1/wire-release/{id} (free): {order_id, status, status_reason, headline, newsroom_url, links}. Poll until links are present.

## Payment and errors
- The first call returns HTTP 402 with x402 payment requirements (scheme exact, network eip155:8453, asset USDC). Retry with the signed payment header; any x402 client (e.g. @x402/fetch) does this automatically.
- You are only charged if the job succeeds. Errors return before settlement: 400 missing fields, 422 unreachable/thin page or unaccepted topic, 422 when no announcement is given and the page shows nothing new ("Tell us what you are announcing"), 502 draft failed quality checks, 503 wire temporarily unavailable.
- Send an announcement field describing what is new. Without it, releases are written only about news the page itself shows (a version, dated changelog item, or feature marked new).
